"Prominent French source: Nasrallah lied to the Lebanese people…"
On August 5, the Beirut Observer news website carried the following report: "A prominent French source revealed to the Beirut Observer that the Hezbollah Secretary-General, Hassan Nasrallah, was actually lying to the Lebanese people when he gave his speech following the Beirut Port blast on August 4, 2020, and where he said that Hezbollah has nothing to do with this explosion. The source added that the investigations and work of several intelligence services intersect with the pieces of information obtained by the French security services to confirm the fact that Hezbollah is in full control of the Beirut Port and Beirut Airport administrations and that the Party has enough agents and staffers to cover all the operations of the transfer of weapons and illegal substances and storing them in the port, airport, and areas close to the two.

"The investigations also confirmed that the Ammonia shipment that exploded was known to belong to the Party and that the latter used thousands of tons of this substance to make explosives in addition to transferring other tons to Damascus to be used by the Syrian regime. The source further indicated that the explosion happened for some reason that might have been unintentional, but Hezbollah and its partners in Lebanon knew about the nitrate and its threat. The source added that the Lebanese investigations led nowhere in fear of implicating Hezbollah and its allies.

"On the other hand, the source said that a year following the port crime, not one official has been held accountable and the situation in Lebanon is getting worse. He added that the French government has obtained official data indicating that half of the Lebanese population is poor and one third is unemployed while the leaders are only working on saving themselves and their money and covering their theft and looting of the state's funds while not caring the least but for their people.

"Meanwhile, France is working hard to collecting more than 350 million dollars urgently in order to save Lebanon from total collapse amidst Hezbollah's complete control over the state using the force of its weapons and also via its allies at the Baabda Palace and the parliament not to mention the Party's insistence on not forming a cabinet unless it matches its own vision."
